Educating patients on the importance of proper nutrition throughout pregnancy is a part of our obstetrical care for patients before, during and after pregnancy.  We follow ACOG Guidelines.

  • Gestational Diabetes

We work closely with maternal fetal medicine specialists in managing our patients with gestational diabetes.  We have extensive experience and knowledge in working with mothers through gestational diabetes and beyond for healthy outcomes in mothers and babies.

  • Nausea and Vomiting Affecting Pregnancy

Obstetricians are most known for focusing on pregnancy, however, we realize that the postpartum period is a time of great change and unrest for moms and families.  We encourage patients to reach out to us in the first weeks and months after delivery as this can be a major change for most families.  Postpartum blues and depression can affect mothers profoundly.  If you or someone you know is affected or you think may be affected by this, do not hesitate to reach out to us for aid in diagnosing, treating and following postpartum depression.  Do not wait on this serious and common illness of the postpartum period.

  • Preconception Visits

Our team appreciates when patients visit during the planning phases of pregnancy.  At your preconception visits, future mothers can expect discussion on topics such as patient health history, medication intake and prevention of birth defects.  We focus on the health of the mother, because we firmly believe that healthy mothers make healthy babies.

  • Preeclampsia

We screen for symptoms of preeclampsia with routine blood pressure and urine testing throughout pregnancy.  If complications arise, we provide individualized treatment.

  • Pregnancy Visits

During the initial prenatal visit, we expect our patients to be available for one hour.  Together, we review your plan of care, which is individualized for each patient based on her age, pregnancy, and experience of previous pregnancies.  We work with maternal fetal medicine specialist in the area to ensure our patients get the most up to date and current treatments for whatever comes up in their pregnancy.
